From Glasgow to Freo, Sherif Andrawes has had an unlikely path to prominence in the world game. 

 

A mover and shaker in Perth’s corporate world, Andrawes is best known as the chairman of Football West.

 

But less well known is his work in the background where he has coached unbroken for over 25 years at his beloved East Fremantle Tricolore and Fremantle City.

 

Josh Chiat caught up with Sherif this month in Kalgoorlie to discuss his remarkable journey and the passion that drives him to give back to WA football.
