Josh is subbed out for Tommy as he and Kelechi do a round up of all the fixtures from the weekend. In the NPLM the boys talk draws between Sorrento and Perth Glory, and Stirling and Perth, and ask what they mean for all four teams so early in the season and if the Azzuri are ready to challenge for the top 4 and league.
The boys also talk about the very eventful match between Olympic Kingsway and Floreat Athena which saw Olympic run out 4-1 winners. In the NPLW the boys go over wins for Perth and Subiaco over Murdoch University Melville and UWA - Nedlands but naturally focus on the huge result at RedStar Arena where the NTC/FWA keep their momentum going. With the favourites for the league struggling to find form we ask if the NTC/FWA can steal a march on the season?

Josh and Kelechi were at Hilton Park on Saturday for the Sicilian Cup double header between Fremantle City and Balcatta Etna.
The boys talk about a hard fought 2-2 draw in the NPLW that leaves both sides still searching for wins before the talk about the huge 2-1 for Balcatta and get confirmation on the whether Jonathan Stynes is prolific. Tony Estrano (Fremantle City President) and Declan Hargreaves also join the pod.
Thanks again for the hospitality by the good people at Fremantle City and look out for Part 2 where we talk about the entire league dropping later this week.

Happy new season, everyone!
Tommy is flying solo this week to look back on an exciting opening weekend of the NPLWA - Men's competition as he delves into Saturday's five game slate and has a couple of observations from Friday's season opener at Frank Drago Reserve.
First of all, the replay of last season's Top Four Cup Final lived up to expectation in being an entertaining affair, as Champions Kingsway lay down an early marker but Stirling lose no admirers in a battle of two likely title contenders. Green Machine goal scorers Laat Mathiang and Jayden Gorman join us for a chat.
Then, to a couple of eye-catching results from Round One, as Perth Glory and Perth SC record confidence-boosting wins. Kelechi comes off the bench for a cameo as he chats about the Italian derby at Dorrien Gardens and doesn't believe the score line truly reflected the game!
Tommy then reflects on the Armadale versus Floreat goalless draw which he watched Sunday morning on x2 speed and saw one of the unluckiest misses of all time. There's a brief look at the 1-1 draw between Knights and RedStar, while there was several encouraging signs for Bayswater as they picked up a late 2-1 win over Night Series winners Sorrento FC on Friday.

The Perth Football Podcast is back in your earholes, as Josh and Tommy dive deep into the NPL WA Men’s contenders for season 2025.
TD has the goods, breaking down the ins and outs of the 12 clubs tackling for the title – and a spot in the new Australian Championship – with round one just around the corner. We ask are Bayswater City Spurs and Perth SC Manchester United (but with a better stadium being constructed)?
Can Armadale lose the title of the entertainers, have we all learnt our lessons about the preseason when it comes to Balcatta and Floreat Athena and can Sorrento follow the trend of promoted teams making the top four?
There's a new dawn for the Perth Glory and Fremantle City while Knights have loaded up on firepower at the front and for some strange reason we reckon it's a three team race this year!
We also reveal our Enhance Health Group Enhancer of the Match from last week’s State League and NPL Men’s Night Series finals and preview the always spicy Balcatta-Perth clash in Friday’s NPL Women’s Night Series final.
