Rhiannon Hopkins is passionate about football. She's been involved in the game from a playing, administrative and health perspective and is the first (and only) woman to have a life membership at Kingsley Westside Football Club.
In this chat we talk about her love of football and community, the vast difference in opportunities there are now for women in the game, some of the joys and fun that come with being a woman that contributes in the men's side of the game (and also some of the not so fun things).
Rhiannon's passion for the game and for fairness is felt in this listen and the messages she speaks about are important one. 1. This game is for everyone and 2. Go out and help.

Sean's back and it's the biggest podcast we've ever recorded!
We touch on Floreat's huge win on and off the field and keeping their outside chance of the top 4 alive, Balcatta securing their NPL status with a huge draw at Stirling and question Stirling's form against the teams towards the bottom end of the table.
We praise Perth RedStar for their win over the Perth Glory and have a chat about integrity in the league and if rules may need to be changed in the future.
Then we are joined by one of our all time favourite personalities in the league - Jesse Lazzaro to talk Western Knights and that move from Cockburn to the Knights before he answers the hardest question ever...And if you though we were done after an hour and 11 minutes you are mistaken! We have a State League 1 wrap up by Alex Papalia.
Told you it was a big one!

Perth RedStar are on the brink of a threepeat after a 3-0 win against MUM FC - While the defending champions needed moments of brilliance from the leagues bests to do it, Kelechi still found plenty that MUM FC can take into their huge game next week.
Elsewhere, Fremantle City kept their red hot form going with a 3-2 win over a resurgent Subiaco and are now closing in on a third place finish.
But all eyes were at UWA with the home side scoring 4 against Perth SC only for them to come up against a red hot Ella Lincoln who all but wrapped up the golden boot race with 5 (FIVE) goals in an 8 goal game for the Azzuri.
Tommy and Impetus football's Ben Gilby were there to talk us through the weekend that was.

Tommy was at Inglewood reserve to see Olympic Kingsway survive an early scare against Inglewood United to run out 5-1 winners and take a step closer in securing the league title. Tommy spoke to two goal hero Joe Knowles post game.
Elsewhere in the league Balcatta all but confirmed their safety in the league with a 2-2 draw away at Stirling Macedonia while Western Knights spoilt the party at Fremantle with a 4-1 win of their own.
Floreat Athena left it late to beat Armadale and Perth RedStar overcame a stacked Perth Glory to leave them deep in the relegation fight.

What a night that was!Olympic Kingsway became the first NPL WA team since Sorrento in 2017 to reach the Australia Cup Round of 16 courtesy of last night's 4-1 win over Edgeworth Eagles of NPL Northern NSW.A great performance in front of over 1400 people at Kingsway Reserve and a wonderful night for WA football in the northern suburbs. So we felt obliged to put together a quick pod and capture some instant reaction from the ground.Tommy was there to soak it all in and begins with a quick recap of the game itself post-game from the car - before catching up with Ross Edwards, Joe Hobson, Tyler Garner, Ollie Annis, Calum O'Connell and Steven Nelkovski!Enjoy this one Green Machine fans!

They discuss the positives for both teams from Sunday’s early kick-off at Hilton Park, before a post-game interview with Freo skipper Annabelle Leek.Longmore and Osunwa are then substituted at half time and replaced by Ben Gilby for the second half, who goes through the remainder of the Round 17 fixtures with Tommy as Balcatta and Perth RedStar win, while Subiaco and Murdoch University Melville shared the points.Thank you to our loyal Patreon supporters and to our sponsors Macron, the Casual Football Co. & Peak Performance Institute for their ongoing support of the podcast.

Andy Longmore is a pillar of the community. He's a life member at Football Margaret River, was awarded Male Champion of the Year at 2020 Rebel Female Football Awards and won the prestigious Wally Foreman Coach of the Year for 2023. An award that saw him and football champion over Olympic hopefuls.
Speaking to Andy and you instantly understand that it's not about him. He's been called to serve and in classic Country attitude, he has a "let's get on with it and make it happen" spirit.
Andy talks about the challenges facing footballers in the South West and Regional areas at large as well as specific challenges facing female footballers and the steps that he's taken to help bridge the gap of access and also to better understand the players. We certainly need more men like Andy involved in our game.
Prepare to be inspired listeners as you are in for a treat.

Tommy, Josh and Kelechi are joined by NPL league winner and Floreat wideman Sean McManus to talk all things Floreat Athena. We talk about the start to the league and the goals for the end of the league, the 2022 league winning season and the sure minded determination it takes to be a pro footballer and to start a life for yourself in the other side of the world.
We have our Macron Moment of the Week and they are all doozy before talking about the excitement at Armadale and Peter Jacobsz' terrific bit of form, a naughty boy and a silly sausage.
With no NPL men's fixtures next week we make our predictions for the end of the season too.

Luqman Sayyed is a member of two of the biggest communities in the world and yet he's part of a minority when it comes to Football here in WA.
He's played in the NPL and is state Futsal champion in the WA Supa-Liga and was a part of the team who made the Stuart Blacker appreciation game possible.
In this chat we talk about moving to Perth from Mumbai and starting his football journey, we talk about why we see a lot of Muslim boys playing casual football and not quiet organised football despite the talent being there and we talk about his love for the community and playing the game the right way.
